A film by Arne Birkenstock and Jan Tengeler with Hayden Chisholm As a Flensburg festival we are of course proud to be able to present our fellow partner Rainer Prüss on the silver screen. But it is really the honest view and the sympathetic ear of New Zealand saxophonist Hayden Chisholm that makes the film a unique stock-take of the real German folk music played today. We cannot and will not miss the opportunity to show this film, so we are screening it during the festival every evening from Thursday to Sunday at 18:00 at the Kino 51 Stufen (Deutsches Haus), and also at the KoKi in Eckernförde at 19:00 on Saturday.

In 2012 the Sportpiraten (Sport Pirates) were the winners in the Under-21 category of the Deutschen Bürgerpreis. Based at the Jugendareal Skatepark in Flensburg’s Neustadt district. The old slaughterhouse site is one of the biggest skateparks and BMX tracks in Europe.
We are pleased to host an intercultural party in association with the Sportpiraten and the Association for Integration and Education. The party is financially supported by the Selbsthilfe Bauverein Flensburg, and the music will be provided by the Warsaw Village Band.
Sunday 21.4.13 from 12:00, at the Old Slaughterhouse site. Admission free. A marquee will be put up in case of rain.
