This year we have booked a really crazy delicacy for our experimental stage in the stairwell of the museum hill. The NORDKVARK trio and its stage alter-egos "Aki", "Mika" – as a hommage to the Kaurismäki brothers - and "Makki" are on a special mission: all three are looking for women. As lovesick Lapps they sing wonderfully sad songs about the wide open spaces of the tundra, the Finnish moon and ice-cold fish fingers in a delightful gobbledegook mixture of smörrebröd-Scandinavian and English. Stoical, dry, and brilliantly absurd. They were winners of the cabaret and staire prize Prix Pantheon 2010 (public vote!)
